What is your outlook?

Where is your focus? What is your attitude?

While I was exercising today, I saw on the Today show Augie and Lynne Nieto. He has ALS/Lou Gehrig's Syndrome. It was inspiring and humbling to watch he and his wife talk. ALS is a one of those diseases that affects your body but not your mind. Something he said really hit me. When asked how he keeps a positive attitude and how he keeps fighting, he said "You have two choices in life. You can celebrate what you can do...or you can mourn what you can't do."What a great quote! He is trying to focus on the positives. We should all try doing that - even just for one day!

do agree that outlook is critical. just last weekend, went to amish county to look at a kitchen cabinet designer. beautiful things, but say the happiness that they ahd inspite of modern conveniences, electricity and things we take for granted. simplicity is critical when looking at happiness

Matt you are so right! - and I am posting about this later this week!

Hey did you ever get your d40? and How is your wife feeling?

did get the d40. it is quite nice. though i can say that the rebel xti is the best value on the block. shame the xti gets no love from photogs. the d40 is jsut a slightly better camera than the xti. the reason i got the 40 though had more to do with the way it fits my hands and the much fast autofocus.

my wife is doing well. had a few scares, but the baby is fine. the lillte on ei s kicking. last night we wnet to hyde park and the baby jumped all over the place when it got some seconds of the steak kosar, sauteed spinach, mac and cheese and lobster bisque. hungry yet?
